Inappropriate tone[edit]

I am referring to the sections on What's in Strensall and Schools, which I think could benefit from a rewrite in a more encyclopaedic style. --Vince 13:18, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've had a go at them and removed the tag. OK? Snalwibma 08:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody care to enlighten me as to the pubs, chippys and takeaways in the village??

Bus Numbers[edit]

I've added the bus number to the page. I see that one user keeps removing it saying it is not consistent with the entries for other villages in York. as I live here, then I do not agree with that view. I am of the view that the more information that is present the better as people will look upon this page when moving to the village.

Your argument would have been better without the "cos i live here" remark. Wikipedia is a collaboration of effort with no one piece owned by any one individual, including the user to which you refer. A reverting war over this trivial fact will not go down well other editors. Would you care to put forward a more rounded argument, i think people wanting to move to Strensall wouldn't particularly care what number service it is , so long as there was a service. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.202.234.61 (talk) 16:52, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
