GA Review[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch

Reviewer: Adabow(complain) 05:35, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article is very close to GA standard, with just the referencing of certifications stopping it from passing. I have also mentioned some minor prose problems, but if they are not fixed the article will still pass GA. I will allow seven days for improvements to be made.

Prose[edit]

  • Opening sentence (and rest of lead) changes tense: "...is the third live album...and was available on DVD...", pick one tense and stick with it.
  • 'Background' section: "The show was broadcast on VH1 on April 2, 2010 for the last time, just a few days after the official release" – this is a bit unclear; what show?
  • "...promotional campaign for the release, giving an autographed DVD..." maybe giving away?
Good. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • 'Critical reception' section: "Mikael Wood from Entertainment Weekly gave the video a B+ and commented, "[T]his live CD-DVD", per MOS:QUOTE, the 'T' in 'This' doesn't need to be enclosed in square brackets
  • 'Chart performance': the position of the charting of the Blu-Ray release should be included
    • I did add it, but User:Kww, who specializes in Billboard charts, removed it, saying that since its not an album chart, it shouldn't be mentioned in teh table. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I was referring to the prose section
  • New Zealand Album chart[[Recording Industry Association of New Zealand|New Zealand Albums Chart]]
Leave it to me Adabow(complain) 05:59, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • 'Track listing' section: maybe rename as plural (Track listings), given the several listings
  • Instead of breaking up the different listings with level three headers, why not include them as the headline parameter in the {{tracklist}} template? The multiple headers also clog up the ToC
I'm not exactly familiar with the jargon, can you show me one? I'll do the rest. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure

References[edit]

  • The Greek and Mexican certs are not in refs
They are, check MX and GR in the album flags. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:47, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what refs you're talking about, but the refs cited are [1] and [2] Adabow(complain) 06:05, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh crap, I thought you were talking about the album peak reference. I'll check it and if not present, I'll remove it. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:09, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK, all good
Hey I corrected it. And thanks for correcting the TRacklisting section. Appreciated. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:18, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • 'Charts': for charts that use the Hung Medien archive (those with ref 26), please use the individual pages for each country. You can find these by clicking on the flag of each country
    • Any particular reason you are asking for it? Coz the Hung Medien reference has all the other ones as well. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:41, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's not major, it just displays more relevant information for that country. It is also common in WP articles, including some you have worked on, such as The Fame. Adabow(complain) 05:44, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, Iworked on The Fame so long ago. Nowadays all the album and single articles I develop I use a single combined reference. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:47, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
