Pronunciation

I changed the pronunciation from /ˈsjuːni/ to /ˈsuːni/. Besides the fact that never heard it pronounced /sj/, here are some links to people associated with the university system pronouncing "SUNY": [1][2][3][4][5][6] Julia 00:30, 30 May 2019 (UTC)

Proposed merge with SUNY Press

There isn't enough here to justify a separate article; propose merging it into the parent page until it has developed enough to justify being split out again. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:54, 11 May 2017 (UTC)

I agree, it's a good idea to merge them. I had no idea it even existed and there's pretty much nothing in the page. - AlaskanNativeRU (talk) 01:42, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

  • Merge - Currently there simply is not enough information to justify it's own. LokiTalk • 02:33, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose - There are a lot of sources that link back to SUNY Press in citation templates. As far as notability is concerned wouldn't that be enough? If not, I don't see how Syracuse University Press could stand on its own either. Buffaboy talk 16:01, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Note: Merge was implemented as per consensus on 15 July 2019 [7], and re-instated by me just now. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 22:24, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Oppose SUNY Press is notable. Benyamin-ln (talk) 10:18, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
