There is another difinition that I feel ought to be included. A pin is a standard size of beer cask with a capacity of 4.5 gallons. Don't know much more so maybe someone more learned could add enough to put in an entry. 81.109.250.33 18:30, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Alan.[reply]

"Pin" is also a unit of area used in Taiwan - I can't find information on this though.. See Taiwanese units of measurement#Area. It's more often spelt ping - it turns out that pin is a lesser-used variant spelling, so I'm not sure if it should be mentioned here.
