otto is the origin word for attar: a distillation of rose petals with sandlewood (always?) or mascerated petals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Awoon (talkcontribs) 23:40, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Otto-Otho-Othon-Odo-Eudes, etc.! Lack of connections[edit]

To whom it may concern! Just in case you do not know, the name Otto, can be spelled and used by many historians in various forms, such as Otho, Othon, Odo, Eudes, Edo, etc.! For anyone using Wikipedia as a method to find information on a subject who might be found in some sources (scholars) to have spelled the name of any of these personalities in a different manner or form, the present Wikipedia is a weak source of material because it does not give enough connections to other possibilities! It could not hurt your prestige to become one of the first sources on the inter-net to actually go out of the way to try and access all possible related material especially by name! Confusion with Auto rickshaw[edit]

Otto sounds a lot like auto, which is short for autorickshaw. The two can be confused. Faster than Thunder (talk) 17:31, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
