Party affiliation?[edit]

The article states that he is the former Republican mayor of Tempe, but later states that he is a leading contender for the Democratic nomination for governor. There were all sorts of rumors on blogs, but today the Arizona Republic ran an article that noted his party switch, and stated that he is considering a gubernatorial race. I reworked that section and added the citation. Horologium (talk) 16:33, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is the introduction self promotion?[edit]

The second paragraph of the introduction sounds more like a self promotion than an encyclopedic entry. if the organization mentioned is the premier what is the source of this information? TSpot-SF (talk) 10:54, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
