Birth year[edit]

The article has shown various different years of birth - 1948 (sourced from here), 1954 (unexplained change), and now 1947 (again unexplained). We need reliable sources for any date - but, given that he was established working by the late 1960s, the 1954 date seems highly implausible. Ghmyrtle (talk) 06:43, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Linking a voter registration for proof of birth is a breech of privacy and I don't think it would be appreciated by the artist in question, or anyone in that position attempting to maintain some semblance of privacy in an otherwise public profession. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.207.251.227 (talkcontribs) 15:54, 4 July 2015‎

Given that some unregistered users persist in inserting patently incorrect information, I am removing all birth date and year information per WP:BLPPRIMARY and WP:BLPPRIVACY. Ghmyrtle (talk) 17:39, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame[edit]

In this edit, in July 2015, an anonymous IP account added to the article this claim: "On April 18th, 2015, Kenny Laguna, along with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" - sourced to this page. The question of whether and how Laguna was inducted is the subject of this blog piece, which suggests that Laguna was not included as an inductee at the time of the ceremony but was retrospectively included, alongside Jett and members of the Blackhearts. This page now includes Laguna as an inductee (giving his claimed but apparently inaccurate birth date of 1954). So, it needs to be mentioned in this article, but I'm not sure of the best wording to use - perhaps simply mentioning that he is now included in the "official" 2015 list.
