Untitled[edit]

The de Version mentions 1937 as year of birth - one year later. Whoever knows it for sure should correct the wrong version. --Bodo Thiesen 03:14, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The English version maintains 1936 as his date of birth. See [1]; although the on-line evidence is not totally convincing either way. Regards,

Making this a disam page[edit]

This John Gorman is no more notable than John Gorman (footballer) or indeed Sir John Gorman. What does everyone think about turning John Gorman into a disam page, moving what's on John Gorman now to John Gorman (musician). Try saying that fast! HornetMike 15:53, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Titan[edit]

I've removed a quotation,

"John Gorman is a titan of a man" was recently proclaimed by Wirral's Young Poet Laureate 2008, Holly Green, at a poetry festival in Much Wenlock.

This had no reference, and I can't find one; 'recently' does not help, and quite simply it seemed out of context in the article. Cheers, Chzz ► 03:06, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
