Google Street View[edit]

Suggest merge[edit]

It has been suggested in the deletion discussion for the Half Moon Island Trail article that it be merged into this article. Northamerica1000^(talk) 23:51, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm against a merge. The Half Moon Island Trail is full of unsourced original research and misinformation. There's nothing sourced worth keeping. Where does the title come from? The claim "The trail became popular on September 30, 2007" is unsupported. Where does this date come from? Assuming the author meant 2010, that date is just the date when two of the sources udes were published. I haven't seen were google maps announced they were giving street view access to the trail, just to the islan. Sources 2-4 do not verify the text they follow. Source 1 is a map that if the route 1 shown is the trail does not match up to the description section. Nowhere does it go northeast then turn west or go west then turn north east. The map also does not tell us what it is like in summer and winter. I have made significant changes to information from the trail section of this article. This was done to remove uncited information, original research and to reduce the undue weight given to the path.
