Clarification and Request for Collaboration on Gordon Price Article[edit]

Hello @Thenightaway

I noticed that you deleted some content I added to the article, stating in the edit summary "not reliably sourced and not notable." The content I added highlighted Gordon Price's experience as an SFU professor, stemming from his expertise as a city councillor and his contributions to advancing cycling infrastructure in Vancouver. He continued to engage with this topic, sharing his expertise in the field through various media channels. I believe these aspects are important to include in this article.

Regarding the reliability of the Urbanarium as a source, it's worth noting that SFU professors and professional urbanists often gather there to attend lectures and presentations. However, if another citation is required, I'm open to adding it to the paragraph instead of deleting the content altogether. Perhaps you could add a "citation needed" tag beside the paragraph so I have the opportunity to find another source?

As for any potential conflict of interest, I want to clarify that I do not have any personal connections to Gordon Price or anyone associated with him. My involvement as a volunteer Wikipedia editor stems from my dedication to improving the platform, and I am currently focusing on enhancing articles related to AIDS as part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject AIDS community.

When I initially began working on this article, it appeared to be abandoned, with only 168 words. My intention was to contribute to its improvement, and I wasn't aware of anyone else actively working on it at the time. However, if you prefer to add to it yourself, I'm willing to collaborate or step back from editing it altogether. I'm also open to feedback and help to improve my editing skills.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Accuracy-searcher (talk) 23:14, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
