Sexuality[edit]

Does the sentence "Wescott was a homosexual" need to be phrased that way and in the opening paragraph? I think it would look better in his biography section or to state "Glenway Wescott was an openly gay..." in the first sentence. The current odd phrasing is common in many LGBT biography articles.
