  • 13:5913:59, 24 April 2024 diff hist −17‎ m Daguerreotype ‎ Some missing punctuation. The previous edit I made, correcting the "1850s and 1860s" and "1850" mistakes seemed to stem from a correction of the dates accidentally added as "1560" and "1550" , which were mistakenly corrected with the wrong years rather than malicious intent.
  • 13:5313:53, 24 April 2024 diff hist 0‎ Daguerreotype ‎ Changed some suprisingly visible mistakes in the main paragraph at the start of the article; contradictory innformation such as the Daguerreotype being "introduced in 1850", and dates. I suggest the page is watched so this misinformation does not get re-pasted.

  • 22:0122:01, 17 November 2023 diff hist 0‎ m Maynard carbine ‎ Fixed figure in first paragraph, with a basic mathematical error about the total carbines used by the CSA, which was less than the estimated figure previously given, less than the total added (5,0000+800+325+650). This is a total of all the carbines used, not of a specific model so one of the previous edits had a mathematical error.

  • 13:0813:08, 26 July 2023 diff hist −24‎ m Casimir Lefaucheux ‎ Removed "known for" blank section. Also, image removed as it is labelled as being from "1830-35", which is anachronistic, and the image clearly cannot have been of Lefaucheux at any point in his lifetime in the era of photography, appearing to be of a young man circa 1860-1900, in an albumen or siver gelatin print. No provenance or reliable authorship, as the source is from an obscure website last edited 8 years ago.
  • 13:0413:04, 26 July 2023 diff hist −46‎ m Casimir Lefaucheux ‎ Removed the long-standing portrait image on this page, which is anachronistic and certainly is not of Casimir Lefaucheux, if the image is real it could be of his son and successor. There is little to no provenance or veracity whatsoever, so it is removed. It is NOT of Lefaucheux.
  • 12:5112:51, 26 July 2023 diff hist −146‎ m Hermann Goldschmidt ‎ The image given for Goldschmidt has no veracity and appears anachronistic, with no evidence of its provenance whatsoever.
