  • 22:2522:25, 15 May 2024 diff hist −68 Feminist artThree illustrative images in the sidebar (Ofili, Poniatowska and Garcia) are inappropriate images for this page. Please remove and/or replace them with images better representative of feminist art or artists (not images made by men. The Poniatowska portrait is a gratuitous image of a famous writer who isn't really affiliated with feminist art). The article as a whole is pretty terrible, and should be re-written. Tag: Reverted
  • 21:1121:11, 15 May 2024 diff hist +183 Feminist artI strongly object to the three sidebar images used. I put my comments in the caption area of each. The images are inappropriate to the subject, and two of them can be seen to undermine women artists. It feels deliberate. Why use male artists to demonstrate feminist art? Feminist art is built upon addressing underrepresentation of women's experience; using a male artist's work to demonstrate feminist art is insulting in this context. It may be intentional, like a photo-bomb. Please remove them. Tag: Reverted

This is incorrect. She came in the 40s, and left the TGP by 1960. I added Mariana Yampolsky as the first female member of the TGP.
