After waiting for the rota to settle down after a period of time in which it's seemed afternoon presenters have regularly come in early to present the BBC One bulletin, I think it is now safe to say that it is often presented by the 5am presenter.

  • 14:5214:52, 9 March 2024 diff hist +33 Pandemic fatigueWe are still in the pandemic now. Many people have now been out of lockdown in it for coming on more time than they were ever in lockdown, the pandemic becoming in fact more a time when the great majority of people are *not* in lockdown (not saying they should be but... facts!). The World Health Organization Covid-19 technical lead confirmed the pandemic ongoing about only six weeks ago. I don't like being called "unnatural", also original's past tense denial sets off a trauma condition I have.
