Was were told by her pulmonologist that IPF was not genetically related nor was the tendency inherited; however she was expected to live only 6 - 12 months. She did well on O2. at 2.5 lpm continuously with minimal weakening or weight loss. And, she lived fairly well for 4-1/2 years except for a small CVA 6 weeks...
