Hum News is a Pakistani 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Islamabad, the channel is a business unit of Hum Television Network (HNL), her Other sister channels belonging to Network are Hum TV, Hum Masala and Hum Sitaray.[1][2][3]

The transmission of the channel started on 11 May 2018. Hum News has bureaus in five major cities of Pakistan – KarachiLahoreIslamabadQuetta, and Peshawar with reporters in every major urban center of Pakistan. Arrangements with special correspondents enable Hum News to cover stories from major cities of the world.

Hum Network is a public limited media company of Pakistan and is registered with Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) since 2004 and has been listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange since 2005.[2]
