Alexey Afanasyevich Dobryden (20 May 1926 - 9 October 54) was a Soviet metallurgist and party leader.
Biography[edit]
Dobryden was raised in Ol'khovatka, Voronezh Oblast by his parents, Afanasy Andreevich Dobryden and Pelageya Korneevna Dobryden née Poltavtseva. [1]
He was called into service for the Soviet Army on 9 December 1943 when he was 17 years old, from December 1945 he served as corporal in the 10th brigade of the NKVD troops. [2]
After he got demobilised from the army on 25 July 1951, he graduated from the working youth school No. 1 at the Sverdlovsk station. He then married Inna Mikhailovna Peshkova (27 August 1928 - 12 April 2015) on 7 November 1954 in Yekaterinburg. They had two children together, Elena Alekseevna Stepanova (1956 - ) and Mikhail Alekseevich Dobryden (1963 - ).
He later studied at the metallurgical faculty of the Ural State Technical University, from which he graduated in 1956 and received a diploma as a metallurgical engineer with a specialty in Foundry. [3]
He passed away on 9 October 1980 in Yekaterinburg. He was buried at the Shirokorechenskoye Cemetery. [4]
