Notability issues[edit]

There are many bands in here that either fail notability or have not had enough members to even merit a category. -RiverHockey 13:29, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am surprised by what has and has not gone in this category. I was surprised to see, for example, a category "Simon and Garfunkel members" - although it looks as if (since I nominated it as a category for discussion) this will get merged. I agree that this a prime example of not having enough members to merit a category. However, I am baffled as to why their are notable groups, such as Simply Red or Simon Dupree and the Big Sound, which do not have their members categorised here. As there did not appear to be a category for Simply Red members, I have now started one. I knew that Mick Hucknall was their lead singer but I had to rely on Wikipedia to find out who else was in the band! ACEOREVIVED (talk) 23:18, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
