Early Life and Education[edit]

Senator Bala Ibn Na'Allah (born June 2, 1967, in Zuru, Kebbi State) is a Nigerian politician and senator.[1][2] He had his first Elementary Education at Yewande Primary school in Surulere of Lagos State. Subsequently, he went to Cape Flying School in South Africa and successfully completed his commercial pilot license programme when he was 17, which marked the beginning of his professional journey as a pilot.[3][4]. Sen. Bala Ibn Na'Allah was not able to take his Check-ride until December 2008 due to being young and underaged pilot. Moreso, Sen. Bala Ibn Na'Allah proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he studied and obtained a bachelor's degree in law (LLB) in 1985 which marked his other side of professional journey being a legal practitioner and called to Bar in 1986.[5][6]

Political Career[edit]

Bala Ibn Na'allah He is representing Kebbi South Senatorial seat in the Senate of Nigeria and was the Deputy Majority leader in the 8th Nigerian senate.[7][8] On August 29, 2021, Na'allah's eldest son, Abdulkarim Bala Na'Allah was murdered by unknown assailants in his residence in Kaduna state.[9] In 2023, Na'allah lost his reelection to the Senate as he was defeated by Garba Maidoki who polled 75,232 votes while Na'allah scored 70,785.[10]
