The 12 regions, also known as the peripheries, were considered administrative until 2011 (they were created by the Greek government and were its regional part), after the adoption of the Kallikratis Programme they became self-government bodies, and decentralized administrations are now included in the administrative level (see also Kallikratis Programme#Reforms as part of the Kallikratis plan). I propose either to remove the word "administrative" from the title of the article, or to use the word "peripheries". -- Fotisgrek (talk) 09:26, 22 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
