Empress Xu (徐皇后, 1362 - 1407), formally Empress Ren Xiao Wen (仁孝文皇后), birth name Xu Yihua (徐仪华), was the third empress of the Ming Dynasty from 1402 to 1407. She was well educated, compiling bibliographies of virtuous women, an activity connected with court politics.[1] Her husband was Emperor Yongle.
