Strеlech'ya (Russian: Стрелечья) is a village in Kharkiv Raion (district) in Kharkiv Oblast, located 36.44 kilometres (22.64 mi) north-northeast (NNE) from the centre of Kharkiv.
Strelech'ya is located at a distance of about 0.5 kilometres (0.31 mi) from the Russia–Ukraine border.[2][3]

Strelech'ya was founded in 1695.
During the initial eastern campaign of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the village was occupied by Russia on 24 February 2022, the first day of the conflict. It was subsequently retaken by Ukraine later that year during its 2022 Kharkiv counteroffensive. Strilecha was once again captured by Russian forces on 10 May 2024 during the 2024 Kharkiv offensive.[4]
Demographics
In 2001 the settlement had 2097 inhabitants. Native language as of the Ukrainian Census of 2001:[1]
