This is entirely inappropriate and only promotes the ease of committing suicide in this manner. I suggest this image be removed immediately. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.86.14.194 (talkcontribs)

I'm not as offended as the person above, but this seriously is disgusting. The article for the suicide bag should have a picture of it in it, not this. Are we trying to instruct the reader on how to create a device to end their life? • GunMetal Angel 06:20, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that this picture should be on this page. why should assisted suicide be only for the terminally ill? what if a person now only exists, not lives, and has no hope and no desire to live? should they not be intitled to end their life in a peaceful manner? would u rather they blow their brains out so their familys have to clean up the mess? or jump off a bridge so that their familys never see them again and constantly wonder what happend and if theyre still alive? dont be selfish, if a person wants to commit to death then that is their choice...

I am deleting this image from articles. It may be appropriate to show instances of suicide bags on some articles to illustrate the content. A manual on how to construct/use such a device, however, is inappropriate as it can be understood as an assistance to commit suicide, which is is certainly against the intentions of the Wikipedia project. It's not wikipedia's responsibility to stop people from committing suicide at the expense of illustration. Take your moral soapboxing somewhere else. It also sounds like you don't understand what the word "inappropriate" means. 97.86.116.107 (talk) 08:16, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
