Summary

Description
English: Gray matter thickness of multiple cortical areas correlates with general intelligence. Brain areas with significant association between cortical thickness and general intelligence in different studies are represented by different colors. N numbers represent sample sizes. In all cases the areas correlating with general intelligence are shown, with the exception of the Colom et al.’s (2006) study, where verbal and non-verbal intelligence were reported separately (Haier et al., 2004; Colom et al., 2006, 2009; Narr et al., 2007; Choi et al., 2008; Karama et al., 2009).
